When you manage your own renovation, you become the general contractor whether you meant to or not. You sequence the plumber before the tiler, chase dates by SMS, keep the budget in your head, and referee the delays that ripple from one trade to the next. The software world has plenty for the contractor's business and a little for your filing cabinet, but nothing that makes you a credible orchestrator.

HusPilot is that missing tool: one shared timeline your trades keep updated themselves, a budget that moves when the plan moves, and a record that settles arguments before they start.

The bet

Every project tool for construction assumes the trades will adopt software. They will not, and we think that is the right call on their part. So HusPilot asks them for almost nothing: a link, a minute, from the van. Everything else is your side of the table. If a trade will not even tap a link, you can keep their lane updated yourself and the record still holds.

Principles

Trades never see each other's rates. We collect the minimum about them: name, phone, rate. Data lives in the EU under GDPR. No ads, no lead generation, no selling data, ever; the product is trust, and you cannot sell trust twice.

Where it stands

HusPilot is in open beta, free, and being shaped by real renovations in Denmark right now. "HusPilot" is Danish for foreman, and a working name: it describes the role the product plays, and it may change. What will not change is who it works for: the homeowner holding the plan.
